A warm Scottish welcome awaits

No visit to Scotland is complete without visiting our iconic Clubhouse. For over 180 years we have been a home for our members and visitors alike.

The Carnoustie Golf Club has a long and proud history, formally constituted in 1842 making it one of the ten oldest golf clubs in the world. The club has given the golfing world many of it's finest champions, a range of historic exhibits are displayed in the club including medals, trophies, equipment, memorabilia and art work.

The Clubhouse is one of the original artisan golf clubs in Scotland. It has a unique history and traditional friendly atmosphere. Built in 1898 the building has seen considerable development and alteration, to become the comfortable and well appointed Clubhouse it is today.

If you are interested in local history and golfing history you will be interested to know about all about our origins. The club and its members are interwoven in the fabric of world golf.
